James Cameron Shows Off His Fusion 3D Camera

In the good way of course! This same camera system is currently in use by Michael Bay for Transformers 3 and Steven Spielberg/Peter Jackson for Tintin.

Teaser Trailer: Endhiran

The most expensive Tamil film in history, Endhiran, finally gets a teaser trailer. Looks rather clumsy (the trailer, not movie), but not bad for a Tamil film nonetheless.

[Video removed] Will update once the official one goes online!

Note: This isn’t a legitimate teaser copy, it was ripped from the Audio Launch event!

Looney Tunes Returns, in 3D!

If you didn’t know of Warner Bros’ plans of reviving the infamous Looney Tunes toons in 3D, well, now you do!

In light of that, WB has released a new clip from the short film called “COYOTE FALLS” and features The Road Runner and of course Mr. Wile E. Coyote!

For those who grew up with these endearing characters, it is more of the same insane and at times impossibly violent entertainment. This time in 3D!

The story of the Mega Shark

Well this post actually relates to a B-rated movie called Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus. It’s so hilariously anti-physics so many people were once involved in discussing about it.

The interesting part: the Mega Shark takes down a commercial jetliner that is cruising over the middle of the ocean.

So Taubman over at Stivo made this Infographic alongside his post. Quite interesting, worth the time reading (including the critical comments from readers).

Teaser Trailer: Earthquake Movie ‘Aftershocks’ (Chinese)

Aftershocks, originally titled Tangshan Dadizheng in Chinese, is being directed by Beijing-born filmmaker Xiaogang Feng, of other Chinese films like The Dream Factory, Happy Funeral, A World Without Thieves and The Banquet previously. The film was released in China a few weeks back, but it does not have an international date yet.

Story: When a mother is informed by a rescue team that, since her 7-year old twins are buried under the debris close to each other, digging one out would result in the collapse of the wreckage on the other, she is forced to make the most difficult decision of her life. Based around the devastating Tangshan Earthquake of 1976.

A very likely candidate for China’s big disaster film in response to 2012, but since this is about an event that already happened, it’s very different and much more emotional.

100 Pixar Characters’ Real Size Comparison

Well this one actually came out even before Toy Story 3, but only now I had the time to post on it.

This new graphic created by Chilean designer Juan Pablo Bravo called 100 Pixar Characters that compares the “real” sizes of 100 different characters next to each other. I’d love to print this one out and have it on my office cubicle.

Click to view the full version, which is of an enormous size at 7676 x 630 pxs.

Wonders of Hans Zimmer in Inception!

Call me crazy, this is yet another post on Inception, but this time on the awesome score from Zimmer.

Apparently, Zimmer appears to be using Edith Piaf’s song as a foundation for extrapolation, slowed down. Cool eh. Proof? This video below, by the guy who discovered it:

Trailer: ‘Inception’ by Pixar

Duhh, the title’s good enough to tell you that this is a spoof, albeit a good one!

If you haven’t watched Inception, spoilers alert. If you haven’t watched Up!, spoilers alert. For the rest of you, this Inception/Up! trailer mash-up will make you flip out. In the words of Mark Wilson: “holy shit that trailer is amazing.”
