Michael Bay Boasts About ILM and Transformers 2
Filed under Entertainment, Tech

I’m equally as excited as everyone else on the coming of this movie, but come to think of it, no one actually knows much on what’s happening behind the camera do they?
Well apparently, Michael Bay has been talking a lot about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen lately, to an extent where he has finally started to boast about it. With an enormous $200 million budget, almost; this film is set to take on any other CG-related stuff releasing this year, and according to Bay, ILM has worked their butts out for this, like never before. Partly because everything has to be done for IMAX resolution, and partly because there’s two fold more robots here.
At one point in his interview with LA Times, he even says; “Look, a lot of people think it’s fun to hate on Michael Bay. There’s a lot of poison on the Internet. People always try to knock someone who’s had a ton of success in movies.
Coming back to ILM, he apparently says that the first Transformers movie took up an “astounding 15 terabytes”; the new one required 140 terabytes. “That breaks every record,” he boasts. Whatever, Bay! I think I’ve seen bigger numbers in more complicated CG-related movies anyway.
Off the hook, Lucas must be damn proud right now..

At the same time, you can also head here to check out some of the newest addition to the Transformers 2 toy collection: Totalfilm.com.
Just for fun, I’ve posted some of the toy pictures herein below:

Cool right? I mean the toys, not what’s Michael Bay’s boasting about.
