Audi A7

Last week, the Audi A7 leaked online, and a day later, it was officially launched in Munich, Germany.

Briefly, the 5-door, fastback coupe is Audi’s own unique foray into the sport coupe segment with rear passenger doors. Audi describes the car as a combination of elegant coupe, sport sedan and practical wagon. Riding on 18 to 20-inch wheels, the A7’s chassis comes with aluminum control arms and a highly-efficient electromechanical power steering. A drive select system comes standard but the adaptive air suspension with controlled damping will be offered only as an option.

Also optional will be the LED headlights while bi-xenon with LED taillights are standard. Of those V6 engines, two petrol and two diesel will be available, Audi has only named the 3.0 liter TDI with 150 kW (204 hp) for now. It says the top engine will be a 220 kW (300 hp) offering but doesn’t say which V6 that will be.

Tongue piercings May Cause Damage to Teeth

I have (and had) plenty of friends with tongue studs, so I guess this news goes out to them

Apparently, people with tongue piercings risk developing gaps between their front teeth as a result of playing with the stud, US researchers have found.

The University of Buffalo team says that, as well as potentially requiring cosmetic work, people can develop infections and chipped teeth. The researchers said that people with tongue piercings were likely to push the metal stud up against their teeth and consequently cause gaps and other problems to arise.

Sawsan Tabbaa, professor of orthodontics at the University of Buffalo, detailed the 26-year-old’s case. She had had no space between her teeth before wearing a barbell-shaped tongue stud. However, a space had appeared between her upper front teeth over the course of the seven years she had worn it for, because the metal bar was pushed against and between the teeth.

TVC: Nokia N8

This is the very first advertisement for the Nokia N8 (well, considering the fact that all before were just promo videos without story-flow). And I should say; it’s well done!

Also noticed that the guy’s reading news via something that definitely doesn’t look like the current Symbian browser. Any idea, anyone?

There’s another N8 advert from India too, but doesn’t showcase much on the phone. But you could watch it for Priyanka’s sake!

Lamborghini Estoque: Planned for Production?

I was excited reading this, not that I could afford one of course. Seeing one on the streets would do more than enough!

Well rumour has it that, according to Bloomberg, Lamborghini’s stunning Estoque four-door coupe concept may yet be built, despite earlier statements putting that idea in doubt. CEO Stephan Winkelmann said this week that “a four-door car would be a very feasible approach” to a third model for the brand.

Hope it really goes into production!

Looney Tunes Returns, in 3D!

If you didn’t know of Warner Bros’ plans of reviving the infamous Looney Tunes toons in 3D, well, now you do!

In light of that, WB has released a new clip from the short film called “COYOTE FALLS” and features The Road Runner and of course Mr. Wile E. Coyote!

For those who grew up with these endearing characters, it is more of the same insane and at times impossibly violent entertainment. This time in 3D!
