Been extremely busy with work, was away for 2 weeks in India, and so many other things have happened in the past month. Will be catching up with everything slowly, and steadily :)

18 May 2010: Rags ‘n Ram 1st Anniversary!

Here we go! ONE SUCCESSFUL YEAR of running Rags ‘n Ram. I’m on top of the world right now as I type this, seeing the amount of good response I’m getting from my readers. For a medium sized variety blog, with only the help Twitter and Facebook (at times), this is indeed very encouraging and joyful.

As at 12am on 18 May 2010 – 16,100 legitimate views and almost 8500 visitors (83% returning)! How do you think I would be reacting seeing these numbers? Woah!

I take this opportunity to thank everyone who had made this possible!

Some important specs:

  • - Highest traffic from: Surprise! Malaysia with 3100 visitors followed by the US with 1790 visitors!
  • - Major traffic sources: Google with 1900 visitors followed by direct access with 1800 visitors.

Rags ‘n Ram hits 10,000 Views!

After some calculation and evaluations, finally I’m happy to announce that Rags ‘n Ram has hit over 10,000 legitimate views as of last week!

By next week, the site will be 10 months old, and this is very promising indeed. With less and infrequent advertisements/referrals (except for Facebook), it has gotten this far, means my readers are of great value; their word of mouth has become a prime factor in driving this traffic in. So I take this opportunity to thank everyone who had made this possible!

Other important specs: 5100 legitimate visitors (~70% returning) with 6,500 new and returning visits from them. 72% traffic comes through referral sites, with remaining from direct access and/or search engines.
